  1. He’s got interesting camera angles to his shots…

Mario Bava paved the way for many who followed. He had to be creative because he usually had little budget to work with. His creative shots, great sets and use of color is epic. The Girl Who Knew Too Much and Blood and Black Lace are looked upon as predecessors to the Giallo trend through the 70s and his Bay of Blood is considered to be one of the first slashers. I am sort of a fan. You certainly NEED to see some Bava, other than the 3 aforementioned Black Sunday, Danger Diabolik, Kill Baby Kill, Rabid Dogs (not horror) are a must.

  2. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS MOVIE BUT I ENJOYED THE SLIDESHOW…………..THEMES OF BEING EXPLOITED
    AND SILENCED ?
THANKS FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK !!!
WISH YOU WOULD POST SOME MORE PHOTOS OF YOURSELF
SO I COULD EXPLOIT THEM………THE REAL GOREGIRL !!!

Everyone should love the films of Mario Bava as much as I do! I am afraid you are going to have to wait a spell before another video 🙂

I have a frightful lack of Mario Bava reviews on this blog…I am contemplating doing a feature on Mr. Bava after the Castle blogathon.
