My Very Own Dot Com and Grunge Cinema!
I am super excited to announce that after almost four years as goregirl.wordpress.com I am finally making the move to my very own spot on the web! This has been something I have wanted to do for a very long time. I still have some kinks to iron out with the changeover though. At this point you can still find me using the old goregirl link but I am not sure how long that will last. My new address is http://www.goregirlsdungeon.com!! Since I am on the subject of things to come I wanted to remind you that as per your votes, I will be doing a nineties horror feature in January and February. Here is my first banner…
Why Grunge Cinema? I worked in a record store for several years during the nineties and alternative rock was my salvation. The Grunge sub-genre out of Seattle gave us Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Mudhoney and Soundgarden among others. Grunge was all about distorted guitars and stripped down and untidy aesthetics. My record store days are a time in my life I look back at with great fondness. I have always ragged on the horror films of the 90s, but I am discovering that there are plenty of gems among the unkempt mess. Speaking of the 90s, tomorrow I will have a review for the tremendously fun anthology Tales from the Darkside: The Movie.

Merci Beacoup!
I’ve never gone looking for movies on Vimeo, I’m going to have to check that out.
I wouldn’t recommend anyone watch this at Christmas with the family.
You are probably okay, on the other hand, don’t you live in Florida?

Hey, that’s great news! If you did it through WordPress, your .wordpress.com version should be active forever.
