Hobo With A Shotgun is one of my most anticipated upcoming films. I love Rutger Hauer as the lead and it looks like it’s going to be sleazy, violent outrageous fun! You’ve got to check out the Hobo With A Shotgun website! It’s everything you wanted to know about Hobo With A Shotgun but were afraid to ask! They announced on the site that their first trailer for the film would play before Machete in Canadian theatres. For your review, the brand spanking new trailer for Hobo With A Shotgun! Can’t wait!

That’s a truly badass trailer!! I was able to score a free press badge for this years Fantastic Fest in Austin & I was hoping this would pop up that week. It doesn’t seem likely, but I’m holding out anyway lol

  2. Ain’t it badass?!!! I was excited about Hobo BEFORE the trailer. I was practically foaming from the mouth excited after watching it!

Nice score getting a press badge for Fantastic Fest, That is soon isn’t it? Hobo is listed as 2011…but you never know. I’ll look forward to your coverage of the fest regardless!

  3. Hobo + Shotgun = intrigue

Hopefully the hobo uses the shotgun for purposes of good without any moral quandaries.

Reminds me a whole bunch of Rutger Hauer in Blind Justice.

    • “Vigilante justice is as American as apple pie” (a quote from the great Pam Grier in either Foxy Brown or Coffy). Looks like moral quandaries won’t be an issue.

I’ve never heard of Blind Justice, do you by chance mean Blind Fury?

  4. The Film Reel Says:

How can I not watch a flick with Rutger Hauer in it! I didn’t realize that director Jason Eisener also did one of my favorite short flicks of all time, Treevenge! I am now even more excited to check this out!

    • I love Treevenge too!…I’m not sure I could be any more excited to see this, but Jason Eisener directing is definitely a cherry!

  5. “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I’ve watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain. *Cocks Shotgun* “…Time to die.” Great stuff here, looks great!!
