The Dungeon’s Nasty Scenes That Aren’t From Horror Films Part # 1

Below are clips of nasty scenes that aren’t from horror films. Need I say more? Check back next Friday for Part # 2! Beware! SPOILER ALERT!

Wild At Heart (1990)
Directed By: David Lynch
Nicolas Cage’s finest moment.

Ichi The Killer (2001)
Directed By: Takashi Miike
Ichi The Killer is more graphic than most horror films. There are several scenes I could have picked but I went with a little self-mutilation.

Seven (1995)
Directed By: David Fincher
Of the seven deadly sins, sloth is my favourite.

Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky (1991)
Directed By: Ngai Kai Lam
Hilariously ridiculous over the top fun!

American History X (1998)
Directed By: Tony Kaye
The bite the curb scene makes my jaw ache every time I see it.

True Romance (1993)
Directed By: Tony Scott
That Alabama is one tough broad!

I was going to include the Bobby Peru scene actually, but couldn’t find a copy on youtube I wanted to use! Besides, there’s nothing like a good old fashioned head smashing done with your own two hands.

Yeah, I don’t think Ichi or Riki would be your thing. And Ed Norton…yep…very fit.

  2. This is a great list, GG! Ichi was a difficult one to watch! And Se7en is disturbing without really showing you anything which is testament to what a good film it is!
